Manual Osteopathy

Osteopathy utilizes the body’s inherent desire to self-correct. It is non-invasive and works with the body's subtle rhythms. Its goal is to promote overall vitality through the treatment of underlying dysfunction. For best results patients are encouraged to wear stretchy, comfortable clothing.

Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy involves the assessment and hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. It can help alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.

I am graduate of The Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and have practiced as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2014. I am also a graduate of The Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy and licensed to practise as a Manual Osteopath through the National Manual Osteopathic Society.

A sense of curiosity and an abiding interest in the subtle rhythms of the body led me to study CranioSacral Therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute.

CST and its philosophy of respect for the body is the cornerstone of all my treatments. To date I am one of only a handful of Upledger Techniques Certified therapists in Canada and the only RMT with this designation working within the City of Toronto.

Regardless of the type treatment (Massage or Manual Osteopathy) I pride myself on my ability to listen to my patients, keep an open mind and do my utmost to understand their goals and concerns. I incorporate assessment into every treatment and enjoy explaining in layperson’s terms how the body works. I value transparency and if I don’t have the answer, I’ll let you know. I enjoy research!

My training as a Manual Osteopath encourages me to view my patients’ complaints through a holistic lens. This provides me with many potential avenues to explore during treatment (cranial, visceral, lymphatic, articular, etc).

I enjoy giving back and spend about a week each year volunteering with the support crew during the Wellspring Peloton Challenge, a cross-country bike rally that raises money for a group of cancer support centres.

In my spare time I daydream about Berlin (my favourite city), try to learn German, listen to vinyl and audiobooks, cheer on my beloved London Knights and spend as much time as possible with my wife and stepdaughter.
